I’ve just read that the government will be offering money to persuade Remploy factory workers to take new jobs with Asda, Tesco and other companies. These people are losing jobs they’ve had for life, many of them highly skilled, technical jobs. Are they going to end up sitting behind a check-out or stacking shelves? What ever happened to real jobs for real people?
